We have a lot of people looking for clarity around the 6/22 date that was announced last Friday in Governor Murphy's briefing. We're following up with every contact we have to get some answers but things continue to move at a frustratingly slow pace. The only thing that seems overwhelmingly clear is that practice is clear to resume as of 6/22 and we expect games to be able to return as soon as 6/27.
⚠️CALL TO ACTION: We need everybody to reach out to their local parks and rec department or county field coordinator to push for fields to reopen on (or before) this date! Start booking practice time slots if you can. We will need fields open to host games when the time comes which we expect will be within 2 weeks of the 6/22 date (hopefully sooner). We will get you DOH guidelines as soon as they are released.
We expect games will be able to resume by the last weekend in June (6/27-28) pending no major spike in cases. Our focus will be to turn on all events on June 27th and later. August is the "New July" for baseball and we have a jam-packed schedule!
