Refund_Privacy Policy

USABL Privacy Statement:

The USABL acknowledges its responsibility to its members and teams in protecting the identity of their members.

Leagues, teams, and players affiliated with USABL provide names and addresses of players, coaches, teams, and team and organization administrators. Leagues and teams are responsible for informing their entire membership of this statement and USABL’s data usage policy.

The primary purposes of such data collection are (1) to ensure the security of participants by verifying identity and preventing fraud to allow access to emergency information; (2) to foster the efficient Administration of the game; and (3) to allow for the direct dissemination of information about the USABL programs to its members.

USABL may use the data to send USABL materials and information, league/camp/tournament updates that may be of interest to the membership.

All USABL Members will be able to opt out of any e-mail distribution list if they choose to do so.

USABL will take reasonable and prudent precautions to ensure that personally identifiable data is protected against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Other than as described in this Privacy Statement, USABL will not disclose personally identifiable information unless required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary conform to the edicts of the law to protect and defend the rights or property of USABL.

USABL Refund Policies:

All refunds are subject to a 3.7% processing fee to cover the cost of credit card processing fees.

Camps:  As long as we are notified within 24 hours of the camp you will be refunded in full.  Camps canceled for a weather event or any other reason you will be refunded in full.

Tournaments:  Teams that cancel out of a tournament with notice of 11 days or more will be refunded in full.  Teams that cancel within 10 days prior to the tournament start date will forfeit their registration fee (no refund.)

In case of inclement weather we will follow the below refund policy:

  • No games played. Full refund less $50 administration fee.
  • 1 game played:
    • 1 Day Tourney = 50% refund or credit
    • 3 Game Minimum Tournament = 60% refund or credit
  • 2 games played (3 Game Minimum Tournament) = $100 credit towards another USABL event (League, Tournament, Camp) or $50 towards your original payment method
  • 3 games played or more = no refund

Leagues:  100% refund if notified within 10 days prior to the start date of the league (less insurance/baseballs/processing fees that we will not recover). There will be no refund if you drop out with less then 10 days notice.

Once a team begins the season there will be no refunds. USABL provides a schedule and teams have 7-8 weeks (49-56 days) to play 9 regular season games. Bad weather, while inconvenient, does not warrant a refund as there is still ample time to reschedule games. USABL will fulfill it's obligation to provide umpires and support at any time and place you schedule your game.

In extreme cases, and only after a thorough investigation by the league, it is determined that a team made every effort possible was unable to get their games played because of weather or teams canceling on the league, you may be eligible for a credit for umpires. This is determined on a case by case basis.

COVID-19 Refund/Credit Policies

COVID-19 Tournament Credit/Refund Policy:

  • Option 1: 100% credit to be used on any future USABL season or tournaments. This is strongly encouraged to avoid any deduction.
  • Option 2: Refund less $25 admin fee per tournament
    • Please understand this is merely cover a portion of the expenses that we cannot recover (ie. merchant processing fees). 

COVID-19 Spring League Credit/Refund Policy:

  • Option 1: 100% credit to be used on any future USABL season or tournaments. 
  • Option 2: Refund less $300
    • $300 covers insurance, baseballs, merchant/vendor processing fees, and administrative fees that have already been spent on your team.
    • If you want this option, please let us the last name on the CC used and we will process the refund.
    • Please note this is simply to cover some of the expenses that we will not recover.
