United States Over Thirty Baseball League History

The first pitch in The United States Over Thirty Baseball League was thrown in the Spring of 1986. The brainchild of founder and Commissioner, Bob Delahant of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, the league began play with just 60 players and 5 teams. Today the league boasts of more than 1000 teams and 9,000 players, playing in different programs under the U.S. Over Thirty League banner.
 
The U.S. Over Thirty League was one of the first programs in the country for Adult Baseball players who thought that their baseball days were behind them. Through organization and competition, the league has set the standard for adult baseball leagues.

United States Amateur Baseball League History

USABL was established in 1986 as the first youth-amateur travel baseball league in New Jersey. The league has grown to become the largest travel program in the tri-state area with over 2,000 teams playing in the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. USABL’s founder, Robert “Bob” Delahant began the league as a way to get more competitive baseball to supplement his son’s little league all-star team with extra games.
 
USABL offers competitive travel baseball for ages 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15/16, 16/18, 18 & Over, 28 & Over, 38 & Over
 
The USABL goal is to offer players competitive and quality baseball, as well as all that comes with being on a team. We pride ourselves on giving players/teams a chance to teach good baseball and play competitive baseball at an early age. USABL held its first ever USABL State Championship in Spring 2013 at the 13U age group and it was a huge success. We plan to continue putting together the 13U State Championship and have plans to implement it in other age groups as well in 2014.

Jersey Shore Baseball League History

Jersey Shore Baseball League is known as JSBL. A  non-profit baseball league designed for the advanced baseball team/players. The JSBL has been operating since 1928 and is the longest running amateur baseball league in NJ. Each team that plays in JSBL must be voted into the program.Most players in JSBL are future/current/former college baseball players
