Tournament FAQ's
How do we report the score?
The winning team must e-mail us the score immediately following your game. If you want to assign another coach or parent to do this, please give them this e-mail address, tournaments@usabl.com to send the score. Please do not make us chase you down for your scores.
How is the Home/Away team determined?
A coin flip by the umpire will determine home teams for all pool play games. In playoff rounds, the higher seed will be the home team.
What are the tie breakers?
In the following order: Head to Head, Runs Allowed, Runs Scored, Coin Flip. Find more rules at usabl.com/rules in the tournament tab.
How do I view my schedule?
Please click the links below for your schedule, then click on the tabs to navigate to different sections of the website.
To view your schedule or standings, navigate to your division and click Schedule/Results.
How does my team view the scores and standings during the tournament?
The best way to do this if you are not in front of the computer would be to have your team download the USABL Tourney App.
How do we get updates on who is advancing to the playoff rounds?
All information will be posted on the website in as close to real-time as we can (assuming all teams report their scores). You can check the USABL Tourney Mobile App or the website to view the teams that are advancing:

3rd Annual Summer Slam
Location: Old Bridge and Surrounding Area
- All Age Groups.
- Brackets: USABL will consider teams ability when doing tournament brackets. We will use the USABL rating system when possible. Most groups will have two levels some will have three levels.
- This is open to all teams.
- See below for the tournament format.
- 7U, 10U, 11U 50/70, 14U, 15/16, July 30th, Saturday.
- 8U, 9U, 12U 50/70,13U, 18U, July 31st, Sunday.

- 1-Day Tournament
- 2 game minimum - chance to play a 3rd game
- Cost:
- 46/60 = $370
- 50/70 = $405
- 60/90 = $405
Advantages of the 1-Day Tournament:
- 1 Day Only: Your team/parents do not need to spend their entire weekend attending a tournament. This is just one day of traveling and good day packed with baseball.
- Often there are serious mismatches in tournaments which can be a waste of everyone's time. We will consider teams ability when putting together tournament brackets the best we can.
