Rating System
Below is the rating system we use for our teams:
- 1 Rating: You should have a very weak team. There should be very few 1 rated teams. 1 rated teams would be “C” level teams, which can be compared to rec teams.
- 2 Rating: You should be a weaker “B” level team or a stronger “C” level team. If you have one pitcher that is decent, it could bring your team from a 2 to a 3 or 4 rated team.
- 3 Rating: You are a “B” level team. If you are not a “B” level team, you should be a 4 or 5 rated team. No “A” level teams should be a 3 rating unless you are a very weak All-Star Caliber team.
- 4 Rating: You are an “A” level team. You have an All-Star Caliber team.
- 5 Rating: You are a strong “A” level team and can challenge any team with confidence.
- *The rating system is not perfect; it is a guide for us.
Tournament Information
Site Host Include: Long Hill, Warren, Watchung, Green Brook
- All Age Groups.
- Brackets: USABL will consider teams ability when doing tournament brackets. We will use the USABL rating system when possible. Most groups will have two levels some will have three levels.
- This is open to all teams.
- See below for the tournament format.
- 7U, 10U, 11U 50/70, 14U, 15/16, July 23rd, Saturday.
- 8U, 9U, 12U 50/70,13U, 18U, July 24th, Sunday.

- 1-Day Tournament
- 2 game minimum - chance to play a 3rd game
- Cost:
- 46/60 = $370
- 50/70 = $405
- 60/90 = $405
Advantages of the 1-Day Tournament:
- 1 Day Only: Your team/parents do not need to spend their entire weekend attending a tournament. This is just one day of traveling and good day packed with baseball.
- Often there are serious mismatches in tournaments which can be a waste of everyone's time. We will consider teams ability when putting together tournament brackets the best we can.
