4 Week - Frazier Baseball Elite Pitching Camp

Elite Pitching camp

Pitchers are the heart beat of a team. Come train with the best so you can carry your team and be prepared come tryouts and game time in March!

Space is very limited since this is a pitchers only camp. If you are serious about pitching this is the camp to attend!

Frazier Baseball and USABL will team up with Biopitch, the leading baseball program in the state to bring you a 4- Week Training Camp!

This camp is designed to meet the needs of Little League aged pitchers.  The camp will be a one time a week, 90 minute per day training session, aimed at helping youth pitchers develop athletic and efficient throwing mechanics while learning how to incorporate researched and quantified velocity enhancement protocols to safely increase power production.

Biopitch's one of a kind pitcher training methodologies and curriculum are based on current scientific and medical research performed by The American Sports Medicine Institute, National Pitching Association, Cressey Performance, and Biokinetics Motion Analysis Labs of NJ.

4-Week Program

We will have a 4 week program which will include the below and much more!

  • Week 1:
    • Warm up to throw, not throw to warm up!
    • Understanding and creating a simple and repeatable routine
    • The basics of throwing and why we have excellent throwers that can't pitch
    • Dispelling conventional wisdoms about pitching, what we think we see and do vs. what actually happens in order to throw a ball correctly
    • Intro to flat ground throwing drills for biomechanical mastery
    • "Fun-K-tional" why it's ok to be different on the mound
    • Recovery and why it is crucial for the safety and progression of throwers of all ages!
    • **Biomechanical Video Analysis (if purchased saparately)**
  • Week 2:
    • Dynamic Warmup full implementation
    • Understanding balance, it's not a static position!
    • Why we need to spend time observing feet and posture, not just the throwing arm
    • Using your legs/lower half efficiently
    • Ground force reactive energy.  What is it?  What role does it play in velocity development.
    • Revisiting flat ground throwing protocols.
    • Developing a recovery routine
  • Week 3:
    • Dynamic Warmup added variations
    • Velocity Development
    • Overload and Underload throwing- an into to our weighted ball training program that is followed by numerous colleges as well as MLB training academies in the Dominican Republic
    • Taking it to the mound - now that you are "armed" how do we translate it to the mound
    • Mound throwing protocols
    • Different pitches - the changeup
  • Week 4:
    • Dynamic Warmup continued
    • Biomechanical drills revisited
